We are Defenders of Potential. You can be, too. Discover the many ways in which you can support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rochester and empower Rochester's youth to realize their full potential. There is no gift too Big or too Little.

Your financial support helps us provide our programs and services nationally and in your local community—so we can develop more college grads, community leaders and entrepreneurs.

Your financial support starts lots of things, like:

  • Recruiting new Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers
  • Covering the costs of background checks, while ensuring trained professionals match Littles to responsible Bigs
  • Enabling ongoing supervision and relationship support for every Big, Little and Little’s family
  • Providing cultural and social activities to enrich the opportunities for children

Become a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters family today. For more information about donating, please contact Dorothy Kelley at dkelley@bbbsr.org or (585) 442-2250.

Donate Online

Donating online is the fastest, easiest way to join the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission and help a child. Your financial support allows us to keep doing what we do: empowering kids in your community to achieve their potential. So start a child on their way to becoming an engineer or an artist. All it takes is the click of a mouse.

All it takes is one donation today to start something that will last a lifetime.

Your gift will have a significant impact on a child in our community. You can support the cost of recruiting a new Big, running background checks, measuring the progress of Littles and evaluating programs to ensure effectiveness, training Bigs in child safety and effective mentoring, providing ongoing match support and so much more!

Create an individual champion fundraising with a personal story and goal. It's easy to share it with your friends and family to grow your donation.

For as little as $25 you can help us recruit a volunteer, make a match, or sustain a match each month—every month.

Your legacy can have an impact, too! A planned gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rochester creates your own legacy of support through the continuation of our landmark mentoring programs. Planned giving also offers significant advantages, including tax breaks and a potential income increase.
