Dine For Kids’ Sake or Plate it Forward
Companies support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester by offering to donate a portion of designated purchases to Big Brothers Big Sisters on specified dates.
Char, Salena's, Nox, The Hideaway, Joe Bean Coffee Roasters, and Moe's Southwest Grill (just to name a few) have already hosted this type of event helping to support kids in our community!

Golf Fore Kids’ Sake
Join us for a day of golf and supporting mentoring at Irondequoit Country Club.
Big Brothers Big Sisters' Annual Golf "Fore" Kids' Sake raises money each year to help support children in the Rochester area. This year's event will be held at one of the premier golf destinations in the Finger Lakes region, Irondequoit Country Club. The meticulously maintained Donald Ross course is famous for its championship layout and scenic views!
Enjoy a fantastic round of golf, great food and lots of fun, all while supporting BBBSR! Golfer registration includes:
- driving range
- greens fee (scramble format)
- participation in hole-in-one contest
- on-course games
- beverages throughout the day
- lunch and dinner

Bowl for Kids’ Sake
Hit the lanes and start bowling strikes for this annual event to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) is our signature event and has continued to grow each year. The dollars raised for this event allow us to provide mentoring services to children across Monroe, Ontario, Yates, Wayne and Livingston Counties.
New to the Bowl for Kids' Sake concept? It is exactly what it sounds like. An afternoon of bowling with friends, family and/or co-workers to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester.
Here's how you can help!
- Be a team captain
- Rally your network to join you
- Set a goal to raise at least $75 per participant
- Show up
- Bowl for 2 hours and enjoy pizza, beverages, door prizes and more (all included with your $75 donation)
- Feel great as you leave the event knowing you made a big difference and helped support mentoring in your community
